China Cove

This addition addressed the need for practical vertical circulation as well as additional area on a difficult site. The addition to this steep hillside residence consisted of a two story garage with lifts for the storage of six cars, three above three. Above the garage was added a game room. A lap pool with side windows was added above the game room.

A stair / elevator tower was added to connect the multiple levels. A copper domed crows nest was designed at the top of the tower. As well as the ocean and the bay, a pop-up T.V. was provided for viewing. The interior of the game room was designed in a Sante Fe style. Multiple screen entertainment center was provided.
