Richard H. Dodd AIA, an Orange County native has been chronicling the history of residential architecture in Orange County; startingwith the Adobe Style in Mission San Juan Capistrano to unique structures, such as the remarkable Mushroom House or the Witches' House in Laguna Beach. His monthly Architectural column in the Orange County Home magazine was singled out by the California Council of the American Institute of Architects for an Excellence in Education Award.
Now you can see the story also, because he has taken it on the road with a visual trip through our county's architectural history. In a free presentation being offered to local service clubs, historic groups and other organizations, he charts the history of residential architecture in O.C. These homes tell stories about the development of Orange County communities into the world we know today.
